There are in fact twenty different resorts around the island to choose from – some of which are popular with certain age groups and nationalities.  So it pays to research your ideal destination before making a booking.

Alcudia is a popular choice with many British holidaymakers.  Thanks to it’s location on the north coast and the fact that is boasts a massive beach – which is around 8km long.  Along with plenty of reasonably priced hotels and apartment complexes.

For something more upmarket head a little further along the coast for Puerto Pollensa.  Which was created as a sister coastal resort to the inland town of Pollensa – a former Roman settlement.

Whichever resort you choose Mallorca is just a two and a half hour flight from the UK and is serviced by all of the main holiday companies and cheap flight operators.
